Cowboys go “21 Strong” to Ka’u!
Kohala’s 8-man football team traveled “21 Strong” to Ka’u and took it to the Trojans 30-0. The scoring was highlighted by a 16-yard scoring run by Stylez Alvarez, a defensive gem that produced a safety, and a 35-yard blast on 4th down by Joey Salvador. Adding to Kohala’s dominance was a final 15-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter, by Isaiah Villacorte-Caravalho to end the scoring at 30-8. The Cowboys have 21 players on the traveling squad this week due to grades, injuries, and illness. However, they weren’t going to let Ka’u take advantage of them even with a full squad of Trojans participating in this game! Go Cowboys…next week at Pahoa High School’s Football field at 2:00 p.m.!!!
