The Kohala Cowgirls Softball team rode the battery of Fresman pitcher, Mikayla Kekoa & Senior catcher, Kyrah Sol, to defeat the Kamakani yesterday in Waimea, 13-0. The Cowgirls also brought their bats with them drilling three fence-topping homers by Mikayla Kekoa, Symphony Libron, and Antonette Fernandez. Yesterday’s win basically solidifies a first round home playoff series vs either Honoka’a or Konawaena on Friday, Saturday, and/or Monday (if necessary), April 15, 16, & 18, 2016. The winner of the playoff series will advance to the two out of three Championship Series at the highest remaining seed in the BIIF DII Tournament.
