– Hawai‘i Electric Light Company announces a partial lane closure on Kaiwi Street between Kuakini Highway and Luhia Street in Kailua-Kona from Monday, April 11, to Friday, April 15, 2016.
One lane will be closed to traffic from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for infrastructure upgrades. Crews will replace five transmission poles in the Kona industrial area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Hawai‘i Electric Light regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the community for their patience and understanding.
