On a rainy day at the Corral, the Cowboys lose their 21-0 first half lead to a valiant Pahoa Daggers team. Pahoa came from behind to take the lead 24-21 on their last series of the game. In what was looking like a Kohala blowout in the first half, turned into a game of attrition in the second half as both sides took a beating losing a few players going down the stretch. The loss drops Kohala into third place in the BIIF 8-Man Football league at 1-2 on the season. The Pahoa win vaults the Daggers (2-2) into second place behind league leaders, Ka’u (2-1). This weekend the Cowboys travel to Ka’u for a must-win game to stay into league title contention! Go Cowboys!!!
