* At 700 AM HST, radar indicated heavy showers falling at rates of 2
to 3 inches per hour along mainly leeward slopes of the Kohala
districts. Increased runoff in streams will likely be experienced
along windward slopes.
* Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to...
Waikoloa Village, Kapaau, Halaula, Pololu Valley, Waimanu Valley,
Kohala Ranch, Hawi, Puako, Kamuela, Waikoloa Beach, Mahukona and
Mauna Lani.
This advisory may need to be extended beyond 1000 AM HST if heavy
rain persists.
