It was reported recently in the news that a Hawaiian monk seal known as “Honey Girl” gave birth to a healthy pup at an undisclosed beach on Oʻahu. It was her 12th pup.
News like that is always worth celebrating as the seals are a critically endangered species protected by both federal and state laws.
