The fans were out in force this afternoon in Honomakau as the Kohala High School Cowboys defeated the visiting Ka'u Trojans 28-6 on the campus of Kohala High School. Hurricane Ignacio is now a cat 4 hurricane with winds of 140+mph and heading towards the Hawaiian Islands. It will weaken before arriving to a cat 1 hurricane with winds around 80mph. A tropical storm watch has been issued for our Island as Hurricane Ignacio approaches. The path has moved more North and east of the Island but Ignacio will still be a hurricane as it passes and we should have some impact, although it should be less as we are on the west side of the storm.
