HAWAII POLICE DEPT: ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE- Route 270/26 mile marker has one lane open to traffic.
BREAKING NEWS: Akoni Pule Closed at Halawa gulch
Akoni Pule/Highway 270 is closed near Mile Markers 25 and 26 due to fallen branches and power lines at Halawa Gulch. Due to the power lines, Helco has been called. However, because of the Holiday, a delay is expected. We are to expect the road to be closed for a few hours.
