The northbound (makai-bound) lane of Hawi Rd between Akoni Pule Hwy & Keawe Iki St remains restricted due to a downed utility pole caused by a traffic crash. First responders have turned the scene over to utility crews who anticipate working throughout the day to repair the damages. Utility crews have set up an alternating traffic pattern using flaggers.
Siren Testing
Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 10:15 AM. Hawaii County Civil Defense and Hawaii Emergency Management will be conducting new siren testing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
