Today’s Kohala Power Outage Cause

FROM HELCO: Today’s outage was caused by a pine tree that fell on power lines near Kohala Mountain Road above Maliu Ridge. About 2,000 customers were affected. Crews responded immediately and service was restored by 2:30 p.m.
