Kohala won a doubleheader today against Pala Pala; 9-5 first game and 17-0 in game 2. The games were the first Kupuna Softball games ever broadcast by KNKR. The announcing team included Donovan & Sammie Aiona and Len Winkler, with Marieke doing the in studio engineering. KNKR will broadcast Kohala Cowboys Baseball Monday at 3pm, Kohala Cowgirls Softball Tuesday & Thursday at 3pm, and another Kupuna Softball doubleheader next Saturday at 10am.
