This is a High Surf message for Sunday Morning, February 4th at 7:45.
The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Warning for the shores of North and South Kohala, and North and South Kona through tonight. A High Surf Warning means there is a dangerous threat to life and property from the surf.
Due to the High Surf conditions, the following are in effect:
Mahukona Beach Park is closed
- Oceanfront residents and beachgoers along the affected shores are advised to be on the alert for high and dangerous surf.
- Closures of roads and beaches may occur without notice.
