Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA), together with the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency, will conduct siren testing on Hawaii Island today, Thursday April 7, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM at the following locations: Kukuihaele, Hamakua Waikaumalo, North Hilo Papaikou, South Hilo Residents nearby may hear the siren sound six to eight times for 30-second to one-minute intervals during the identified timeframe. The Kohala Cowgirls Softball team rode the battery of Fresman pitcher, Mikayla Kekoa & Senior catcher, Kyrah Sol, to defeat the Kamakani yesterday in Waimea, 13-0. The Cowgirls also brought their bats with them drilling three fence-topping homers by Mikayla Kekoa, Symphony Libron, and Antonette Fernandez.
