High Surf Closes Mahukona Beach Park Wharf Side

Hawaii County Civil Defense reported about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday that Laaloa and Kahaluu beach parks in North Kona and the wharf side of Mahukona Beach Park will remain closed through Thursday.  A high surf warning remains posted for north-facing shores and a high surf advisory remains posted for west-facing shores through 6 a.m. Friday.
